Bologna, Dallinga still without a goal: last year he was unblocked on the seventh matchday

Seven goals scored in the league, zero in the first two days of the Champions League. The Bologna of Vincenzo Italiano he plays well (the match at Anfield against Liverpool is the perfect example), but he struggles a lot to find the way to the goal. Alone Santiago Castro he was able to give a boost to the rossoblù’s offensive department, with three goals scored in the first seven days of the championship. Only one goal for Riccardo Orsolinione per Samuel Iling-Juniorthe other Bologna attackers are still at zero.

Among these there is Thijs Dallinga. The Dutch striker born in 2000, paid 15 million by Bologna, has not yet managed to score his first goal with the Bologna shirt. Not only that, at this start of the season his use by the Italian coach is really reduced to a minimum: four appearances in the league, two in the Champions League, for a total of just 220 minutes played.

Against Parma in the last season of the championship, he was out due to an ankle problem suffered in the Champions League match against Liverpool. Last year in France, with the Toulouse shirt, Dallinga scored 19 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions, with 13 goals in Ligue 1, the first scored on matchday seven. Even in that case the Dutchman needed time to settle in, but once he was unblocked he started to score regularly. And that’s what the Bologna fans hope for, the rossoblù also need his goals.
