Fonseca explains the turnover to Franchi: “A UEFA study says that whoever changes the most wins”

Interviewed by Milan TVmister Paulo Fonseca he commented on the defeat against Fiorentina as follows: “In the first half there was a lack of aggression. The first goal conceded came due to a lack of aggression. In the second half however we were more aggressive, we created more, but then if you miss two penalties it’s difficult win the game.”

On who is the team’s penalty taker: “The penalty taker is Pulisic, I don’t know why the boys changed. I’ve already told the boys that it won’t happen again.”

On performance: “We created a lot, we could have won the match. But we didn’t have the right aggressiveness.”

On turnover: “We had four days to recover. I have already said that it is a moment in which continuity is needed. A UEFA study said that teams that change less win more. We had four days to recover and therefore I made these choices” .
