Rome, Zalewski is back among the squad. Now the renewal: two possibilities to extend

A month and four days is how long the absence among the squad lasted Nicholas Zalewskiwho returned yesterday to the list in which he had not appeared since the match against Juventus on September 1st. The Pole, in Monza, will therefore be available to coach Ivan Juric, who will have an extra alternative on the flanks. Zalewski had already been training with the group for about ten days, but only yesterday did the club receive the green light for the call-up. In Trigoria they appreciated the professionalism and commitment of the 22-year-old who had been placed on the sidelines of the technical project after the hesitations about the renewal and the refusal to Galatasaray, underlines the Gazzetta dello Sport.

In the coming weeks, the parties will return to the negotiating table to avoid leaving in June on a free transfer. Two alternatives will be evaluated: the extension of the contract with an increase in salary (today of 500 thousand euros) or the transfer in January. Now, however, Nicola is only thinking about his new debut. And already today against Monza it can be useful, before matches against Poland in view of the two matches against Portugal and Croatia (Nations League).
