Juve-Conceicao, 7 million for the loan and no right of redemption. But there is a stipulation

Francisco Conceicao was the great protagonist of the victory won by Juventus last night on the Red Bull Leipzig pitch. At 2-2 and outnumbered, Thiago Motta’s team won with a spell from the Portuguese winger who in the 83rd first caused panic in the German area and then beat Gulácsi with a shot from billiards.

Conceicao was a strongly desired purchase in August by Giuntoli and Thiago Motta. In order to bring him to Turin, the Juventus manager and coach agreed to sign him on a temporary basis for seven million euros plus three million euros in bonuses without any right of redemption. However, in the contract that binds the player to Porto until 30 June 2029 there is a clause worth 30 million euros which will be valid next summer and Juventus, also by virtue of the agreements reached with Jorge Mendes a few weeks ago, will have priority compared to other companies to exercise it should the parties get along well together.

Juventus announced the purchase of Conceicao on August 27th with this press release: “Juventus Football Club SpA announces that it has reached an agreement with the FC Porto club for the acquisition, on a temporary basis until 30 June 2025, of the rights to the sporting performances of the footballer Francisco Fernandes de Conceicao for a consideration of €7 million ; this fee may be increased, during the duration of the sporting performance contract with the player, by an amount not exceeding €3 million, upon the achievement of certain sporting objectives”.
