Taranto, new group interested in the club: Raffaele Niutta and Francesco Mango involved

A new group appears interested in purchasing the Tarantothe Apulian club from which the president withdrew in recent months Maximus Jupiter. According to what was reported by South antenna a group of entrepreneurs, led by Raffaele Niutta (former president of Angri and Afragolese) e Francesco Mango (current number 1 of Pompeii), would have shown a certain interest in the Ionian club.

At the moment, however, as is obvious, there is no real negotiation, also because the one linked to the Italian-American fund is at an advanced stage and could materialize in the next few hours.

The general director also expressed his opinion on the topic yesterday Fabrizio Lucchesion the sidelines of the Serie C elective assembly: “My mission is to ferry the club towards new ownership, in a self-financing policy and with the need to resolve some problems related to the stadium. A mission which I can say is progressing at the end given that the company was put into operation after the disengagement of the ownership. The stadium issue is being resolved and the Municipality’s resolution was issued this morning which extends it until December 20th, therefore until the end of the first round. the possibility of using the ‘Iacovone’ on our part even if with a reduction in positions. We are also working for the January-June period but we have to wait for the new Commissioner of Taranto to take office, a position which has been vacant for about ten days. For this reason I can say that we are ready to move the club towards new ownership. Like everyone else, I have heard rumors about some names but it is something I don’t deal with and therefore I can neither confirm nor deny.”
