From Taremi-Arnautovic to the answers he was looking for. Inzaghi’s words after Inter-Stella Rossa 4-0

Video

Clearly and visibly satisfied Simone InzaghiInter coach, after the 4-0 victory at San Siro against Red Star on the second day of the single group stage of the Champions League. Watch the video again with the words of the Nerazzurri coach: “The boys were good, they played a serious game against a closed team that came to play a purely defensive game. We moved the ball well, after the goal we had another couple of occasions. Apart from a couple of restarts that we could have read better and the first five minutes of the second half everything went well. We wanted this victory to follow up on the performance in Manchester, we have to continue in this direction. there is satisfaction.”

Satisfied with Taremi and Arnautovic?
“They’re giving it their all, I have to make choices game by game. They deserved this opportunity and they exploited it very well, but I wouldn’t just look at the attackers. Having this type of response is very comforting.”

How are you experiencing this moment?
“I already responded yesterday, the club talked about it in the pre-match with Marotta. Together with the team we listened little and worked a lot, because we only had two days to prepare it. We were facing a team that had achieved nine wins and a draw in the league , they were ahead of us in terms of condition but we did well.”

Did the turnover prove you right?
“A coach has to make choices first, many times it’s the result that proves you right or not but at this moment I must not be influenced by what is said. Zielinski was one of those players who could have helped us with his dribbling and his technique”.

How many goals are needed from the reserve attackers?
“They are fundamental, I can’t say a precise number but they must make sure they help us a lot in substitutions and in starting games. We have two attackers who are playing more, Thuram and Lautaro but the season is long. Arnautovic and Taremi are two players that I wanted here, I am satisfied with how they work every day in Appiano and they must continue like this.”
