The prof. Sandulli and the investigations into the ultras: “The curves have become no man’s land”

Professor Piero Sandulliformer President of the FIGC Federal Court of Appeal, spoke to Radio CRC also focusing on the topic of the arrests of some ultras in the Inter and Milan corners.

Sandulli expresses himself on the topic in these terms: “I read little. The curves have become no man’s land. True and legitimate fans should have an important role in the reclamation of those lands. Law 86 of 2019 with article 4 makes fans responsible. Those genuine fans should be given greater power and ability to influence the places where sporting events are celebrated and to be listened to by sports clubs.”

In the investigators’ sights there are also meetings with footballers such as Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolò Barella and the now ex Juan Cuadradonow playing for Atalanta. From a phone call between the leader of the Inter team Marco Ferdico and Marco Materazzi, the same one in which Javier Zanetti’s name was mentioned, it emerges that Ferdico “met Calhanoglu and Barella, to talk about the critical issues that arose from the affair of the tickets Champions League final”, also learning of the “Turkish footballer’s complaints about the club’s behaviour”. In the next few days the prosecutors are ready to also hear from the various members.
