Brevi: “Abate’s Ternana is showing clear ideas and mentality”

Ezio Brevi, coach and former footballer, spoke to the microphones of TMW Radio during transmission To All C:

What are your thoughts on this start of the championship?
“In fact this start of the championship the only ones that are respecting the predictions are Pescara and Ternana. In the other groups, however, there is a situation of stasis or in any case a situation that is not definitive in terms of the rankings.”

Ternana is one of the protagonists of the C that is doing best
“I saw them play against Legnago and they showed that they were well both physically and psychologically. In that match, then, they found a team in difficulty and therefore found fertile ground to confirm their ideas. However, the team is proving to have clear ideas unlike corporate issues. Winning on the pitch always brings benefits.”

Did you expect all this from a young coach like Abate?
“We are talking about a former footballer with great experience and I presume that these initial inconsistent trends do not create fibrillation at the coaching level. What is comforting now is that the team has a very specific game and mentality. For Serie C it is at an excellent level at the moment.”

On the false start of Triestina?
“It is those false predictions that cause concern in the environment. Trieste is a beautiful place for football. In the last match they decided to focus more on the result than on the game. This seems right to me because first you are trying to find peace of mind with the result and then find the right solution also in the game and aim for higher goals.”
