Challenge to Inter for the Red Star Of Vladan Milojević. The coach of the Serbian team presents the match scheduled for tomorrow at San Siro at 9pm in a press conference. Live text by TMW.

6.50pm – The press conference is scheduled to start at 7.15pm.

19.27 – Milojević’s press conference begins.

Why didn’t you train here at San Siro the day before the match and what Red Star team should we expect?
“We trained in Belgrade, we decided this way since we had little time. You will see tomorrow what match we have prepared.”

How is Glazer’s situation given his recent injury?
“It’s ok, we’ll see for tomorrow’s match. He’s had an MRI and is fine, I’ll decide tomorrow.”

Inter has double roles covered.
“We are talking about a team of champions, they have a lot of motivation for the Champions League and for all the objectives they have. They have quality players in all positions, there are many with great international experience. They have been using the same system for years and they are used to it, so they can change players regardless of their characteristics.”

Could Arnautovic and Taremi in attack change your plans?
“I don’t think so, it’s not eleven players playing but the whole squad. Regardless of the individuals, they have excellent players and it’s difficult to choose: we can’t afford the luxury of underestimating anyone, they’re just evaluations by the opposing coach. Everyone makes their own plans and tries defects to overcome in order to overcome the opponent, we certainly don’t underestimate players like Taremi and Arnautovic.”

Maksimovic played in the derby, will he get another chance?
“If a player trains it’s not about taking risks, even if he’s a young player. He’s a kid who deserved to play, we can talk about Prutsen who wasn’t there last year: they’re guys who know how it works here, they have to work and we follow them. Then they get what they deserve, sometimes later than expected.”

What will be the decisive elements for tomorrow’s match?
“At this level, when you play against great teams, you have to be consistent for ninety minutes. You need concentration and discipline, let’s not talk about motivation which will obviously be at the top. Tomorrow we play against teams that have their own type of game, we will have to make a heroic game and attack when we have the chance. There must be missteps, we can’t start the match badly.”

Have you had the opportunity to meet any Italian coaches during your career?
“Good question, I have great respect for Italian coaches. I followed Pioli when he coached Bologna and it was a great honor. I had the chance to challenge Ancelotti, one of the greatest coaches. In my opinion the greatest.”

Have you spoken to Stankovic?
“I haven’t heard from Deki, he’s certainly a player who loved Inter and who they loved. We know what he won here, everything possible, and it was wonderful to see him win. But I didn’t hear from him.”

Will the objective be to run at your maximum and try to put the Inter players, who are very experienced, in difficulty?
“Nowadays, without physical preparation you cannot play, regardless of age. Inter have an excellent style of play, which they always use: when you have players of the highest level, everything is easier, even managing energy. We have young players, with great motivation. I wouldn’t talk about their age.”

What do you appreciate about Inzaghi’s football?
“I have followed his career, Inter have built an excellent playing system under his management. He has the ability to insert new players better, it is important to have continuity over the years: I also think of the case of Leverkusen, who still play better in the second year than Xabi Alonso Inzaghi used a base and always tried to improve, something that always gives results, there is never time and we all depend on results.”
