“Criminal association in the San Siro corners”: 18 Milan and Inter ultra leaders arrested

Eighteen people arrested. Sixteen in prison. Two under house arrest. This is what emerges from this morning’s blitz by the Police and the Financial Police who, on the orders of the preliminary investigations judge Domenico Santoro, arrested the leaders of the AC Milan and Inter teams. Extortion on the sale of tickets for Inter and Milan matches, a monthly extortion imposed on car parks around the Meazza, “cartels” between Nerazzurri and Rossoneri ultras on the sale of drinks and gadgets at the stadium, violent fights and injuries between groups, but also fictitious registration of goods: these are the crimes that are accused of those arrested, as reported in the online edition of Corriere della Sera.

The Nerazzurri curve is charged with the crime of criminal association with aiding and abetting the mafia. The precautionary measures have reached the boss Andrea Beretta (who a month ago stabbed to death a member of the Bellocco ‘ndrangheta gang) and the deputy Marco Ferdico as well as the most prominent members of the board such as Matteo Norrito and Mauro Nepi. The DDA and the Mobile team and the Sisco (investigative section of the central operational service) of Milan have shed light on the last six years of the curve starting from the murder of Vittorio Boiocchi, released from prison in 2018 after 26 years and killed by gunshots.

As regards the Rossoneri curve, however, there is talk of criminal association but without the aggravating circumstance of mafia facilitation. Luca Lucci, his brother Francesco and Christian Rosiello, Fedez’s bodyguard (who was not involved in this morning’s operation) who was the protagonist months ago in the beating of personal trainer Cristian Iovino, and Islam Hagag, have been arrested.
