The Juventus coach Thiago Motta spoke to SportMediaset after yesterday’s 3-0 success against Genoa: “Those played so far are games of the past, we did something better yesterday especially in the second half facing a low team that leaves no space, coming from behind, with movement. Now we will prepare the Champions League match”.
Did the goal at the start of the second half change the dynamic of the match?
“It changed everything, even the opposing team. For us it was important because scoring immediately gives you confidence and awareness of your strength. With many strong players, if we find a team that opens up we can play well and put our opponents in difficulty.”
Happy with Vlahovic’s brace?
“I’m satisfied and happy for him, because I know how important it is for an attacker to score goals. I’m happy because he scored but he didn’t forget to do the other things I ask of him in both phases.
