Bove: “They say there are no more flags and it makes me laugh. The clubs are unscrupulous”

Edward Bovea midfielder who left Roma this summer to join Fiorentina, was asked to comment on the greeting reserved for Danilo Cataldi by the Biancocelesti supporters during the press conference following the 2-1 victory against Lazio.

Bove ended up involving his management by Roma in the discussion, perhaps not entirely intentionally: “It’s not true – he says of himself and Cataldi in the Capital – that we were unable to assert ourselves… Today we saw how the Lazio fans welcomed Danilo, it’s not a given. The fact that he left something in the fans’ memory is the most important thing. Danilo is the one I’ve been with the most in this period, we’re looking for a house and we’re in a hotel together. We both know what it feels like, but we need to focus on what we left to the place we left and it’s not a given. Especially in today’s football. They say that there are no more flags and it is not only the players’ fault, it makes me laugh because the clubs look after their own interests without scruples. This led me and Danilo to go, we were no longer at the center: nothing wrong, take note of that. Here we immediately felt at home”.
