Venice, Di Francesco in conference: “Head-to-head? We need to understand what Genoa’s objectives are…”

Championship eve for Venezia, who will face Genoa at home tomorrow. Mister Eusebius of Francisspeaking at the press conference, spoke about various topics, but also briefly focused on Daniele De Rossi’s dismissal from Roma: “Do I want to dedicate a thought to him? I’ll call him and tell him what I have to say. I don’t want to say things of the moment”.

What do you think of Genoa?
“I expect a combative team that always stays in the game. They have a team built to do well, then they know the real objectives. We also have ours, we just need to get into the mindset of this championship better. In the game we need to have continuity”.

It’s a direct clash: how important is it to win for this, in the fifth match of the championship?
“We need to understand what Genoa’s objectives are. I think they have a bit more potential than the teams that can fight to avoid relegation. They have several players who have known each other for a long time. We always look at the players’ CVs. We won’t care, we’ll need balance to play in the best way. Games can be won until the ninetieth minute, just as they can be lost.”
