Szczesny will be at the Stadium tomorrow: Juventus is preparing a tribute for his ex

At the Allianz Stadium, tomorrow afternoon at 18:00 for the challenge between Juventus and Naplesthere will also be Wojciech Szczesnyformer Polish goalkeeper who retired from playing football in recent weeks after the termination of his contract with the Bianconeri.

Szczesny, according to what was gathered, was invited to the stadium for the match against the Azzurri and for the occasion the black and white club intends to give him the right tribute for his years in Turin and the trophies he won as a protagonist. A ceremony still top secret, but which will be aimed at paying homage to one of the protagonists of the last 7 Juventus seasons.

These were Szczesny’s words about Juventus in his last interview:
“These seven seasons have been a personal challenge that is not easy. When you have the adventure of a lifetime and you do so well, it is a wonderful feeling. I would have liked to help the team again this year, but that does not depend on me. However, I did not expect to find myself outside the project, I would never have imagined it. I spoke very sincerely with the sporting director Giuntoli at the beginning of last season, when we had to discuss the renewal. We sat in a room for three minutes. I told him that at the end of the 24/25 season I would retire. Then I started reading the news in the newspapers that talked about the negotiations between the club and Di Gregorio. I would have liked to spend another year in black and white because I felt I could still give a lot. But after Juventus I was not ready for other challenges. Even if I do not agree with the club’s choice, I have no regrets towards Giuntoli. I respect the club, they were also respectful towards me during the summer. I will remain a Juve fan”.
