Gasperini’s report cards: his Goddess forces Arsenal to settle for 0-0

Even Mikel Arteta and Arsenal now know what it means to face Atalanta Gian Piero Gasperini. The Goddess played as she always does against the Gunners and in the end took home a point that could be very precious for the standings (and it could have been three if Retegui had not missed the penalty). The Sports Gazette the Goddess coach deserves a 6.5 in the report card: “It was to be expected. He plays it straight away by putting his offensive arsenal on the field and his Goddess forces Arsenal to settle for a 0-0, conceding very little: it’s no small feat”.

Same vote from Allsports: “There is still regret for Retegui’s missed penalty kick, but Atalanta took to the field with a personality that bodes well for the rest of the competition”. Half a point more in the ratings TMW: It was a tough race, he knew it too. He takes home a precious point, which can make the difference in the coming months. Better to take what you can.
