The defender of Renate Simone Auriletto during the broadcast ‘A Tutta C’ on TMW Radio he talked about various topics starting from his experiences with coaches like Longo and Gilardino.
You have had coaches like Longo and Gilardino, what can you tell us? About Foschi instead?
“I had Longo in the spring at Torino and he always gave me the impression of being a ready coach. For me, he is one of those from whom I have taken the most. I came from the youth sector and I took a lot from him. Gilardino is a fantastic person. Surely from him, with all the experiences he had as a footballer, I could have expected a career like that. What I really appreciate about Foschi is that he knows how to manage the group very well and that he always keeps us on our toes”.
Do you like playing 4-man defense?
“In my opinion, the individual must know how to adapt with his teammates and with the new way of playing. It is normal, then, that there are some years that are a bit like this. As for my situation, I like playing with 4 much more. I often hear, however, that I am more suited to a three-man defense. In any case, I focus on work and on letting the field do the talking”.
Is the experience gained over the years an additional weapon?
“My experience helps me because I feel that year after year I have always improved in every aspect. However, I never consider the process of improvement finished. I believe that I will have something to learn until the last year of my career. I always try to take the best from my teammates and the coach”.
