The state of Rio Grande do Sul, in southern Brazil, has been hit by torrential rains in recent days. The toll is dramatic: to date 37 deaths have been confirmed and at least 74 missing. As happens in these cases, everyone shows great solidarity, starting with the footballers; the Brazilian press revealed that Diego Costa he would have shown great courage, loading a jet ski onto his jeep to try to help dozens of people.
In the last few hours, videos have emerged on social networks portraying the Brazilian from Gremio – a team from the devastated region – together with four friends. “My neighborhood ended up under water. It was midday and Diego Costa arrived to ask us what we needed. Within half an hour he sent his men with four jet skis to recover the families whose houses were flooded,” a witness told Globo Esporte.
🇧🇷👏 Diego Costa stopped by the flood in Eldorado do Sul, Brazil, to ask what people needed due to the dangerous situation.
Costa took a jet ski in his truck and got 4 more friends with jet skis to help those stranded and evacuated some families.
