Say hello to the new discovery of Sogliano: between a Livramento and a Mosquera here is Tengstedt

Say hello to the new discovery of SoglianoYesterday, Hellas Verona lost to Lazio on the pitch, but they were able to see how the new centre forward chosen by the sporting director who, more than his other Serie A colleagues, seems to have the gift of creative transformation on the market, Sean Sogliano, scored another goal.

Casper Tengstedt’s (24 years old) goal in Rome was the second goal of the championship for the Danish centre forward born in 2000. Robust but also gifted with a certain agility, he seems to have already overtaken Zanetti’s other new summer signing and potential Verona favourite, the Colombian Mosquera, in the attacking hierarchy.

Sogliano fished him out of the Portuguese league and from one of the top teams like Benfica. Tengstedt’s adventure in Lisbon lasted a year and a half (he arrived from Rosenborg in January 2023) but things didn’t go as planned. To relaunch himself, he chose Serie A and a project with a clear showcase flavor like that of Verona, which he hopes to help with goals. Taken on loan for the moment, if he convinces Hellas they can take him outright by paying around 7 million euros to the Aguias coffers. But time will tell, first there is Verona to take.
