Udinese’s sensational comeback and Parma KO at Tardini: double for Thauvin and final 2-3

A match that seemed one-sided after the first half, and a sensational comeback in the second half. Udinese took over the Tardini and beat Parma 2-3 after having closed the first half 2-3 down, with goals from Delprato and Bonny. In the second half, first Lucca’s goal and then Thauvin’s brace, for a victory that projects the Bianconeri to the top of the table alone after the first four matchdays. Also decisive was the expulsion of Keita, who came on in the 52nd minute and was forced to leave the field after a double yellow card in the 73rd minute.

The first half.
The balance of the match was broken after only two minutes with Enrico Delprato’s first league goal. A short corner kick and a cross from the right by Mihaila who found the yellow and blue captain ahead of the game with his right foot, with his volley leaving Okoye no chance. In the 43rd minute, Bonny doubled the lead, doing a great job of turning in a handkerchief on an assist from Man and beating Okoye with the tip of his right foot, giving his team a double lead at the end of the first half.

The comeback.
In the second half, Lorenzo Lucca’s goal arrived immediately, in the 49th minute, reopening the match, before Thauvin’s goal, which in the 69th minute stolen a goal that was practically done for Davis, who headed in a header from his teammate directly on the goal line. Much of the credit goes to the former Watford striker, who was good at starting the move and finding himself at the far post to strike at goal. The lead came in the 76th minute: a cross from the left and an aerial pass from Davis that found Ekkelenkamp in the center of the area. Chichizola worked a miracle, but on the rebound the Frenchman found the corner, for the 2-3 goal that closed the match.
