Roma says yes to Galatasaray, Zalewski is not open for now and raises the stakes

Nicholas Zalewski is the protagonist of the latest potential transfer market case, between Italy and Turkey where exchanges will still be possible for a few hours. Rome has in fact found an agreement for the transfer of the Italian-Polish winger to Galatasaray: permanent deal worth 10 million euros plus 2 million in bonuses.

Much less convinced, on the other hand, is Zalewski himself. The player, whose contract expires in 2025 and who did not train with his teammates on the day just ended, did not open up to the Istanbul club’s very rich offer, counter-launching with even higher requests. In particular, according to what was reported by the Turkish press, to accept the player he would want a salary of more than 3 million euros, with a termination clause of around 15 million. Figures that, despite the belief in banking on the product of the Giallorossi youth sector, have pushed the Gala to explore other avenues.

The Istanbul club’s executives are in fact in Milan and are evaluating other solutions. Two in particular: they have asked Milan for information on Fodé Ballo-Toure, who is currently out of the Rossoneri’s plans. The other hypothesis leads to Mario Ruiwho is not central to Napoli but is considered a solution last minute. The first name, despite the difficulties, remains that of Zalewski.
