Fiorentina, Palladino: “I dream of a trophy, one brick at a time. Colpani? I hope he repeats it”

Raffaele Palladino, Fiorentina coachspoke to DAZN: “I want to try to give my best for this club that believed in me and my staff. We are trying to do our best because we are ambitious. A great job was done before me and this summer there have been big changes. We are working to give the fans the right satisfaction. The dream would be to lift a trophy but in the meantime we want to create a positive environment here at Viola Park, building day after day one brick at a time to reach these goals”.

How did you find the team?
“It’s not easy to go from a certain game system to a completely different one. It takes time, patience and mistakes, because they make you grow. I see positive things”

There is no shortage of expectations for Colpani.
“I hope he can do it again. He has room for improvement and being a great professional he really wanted to come here to Florence. I hope he can establish himself in Serie A and return to the national team”

How many differences did you find with Monza?
“There is a different way of being on the pitch. Fiorentina comes from an excellent path that has given them a proactive mentality, something that must not be missing this year”.

What do you think the future holds for you? And for Fiorentina?
“I was surprised by the quality of young players I saw here in Florence. They always train with us: some still have to grow, others are already ready. I see a great future for them and I’m happy that Fiorentina has this pool of young players.”
