The new defender of Cagliari jose palomino spoke at a press conference on the day of his presentation. The Argentine arrived in Sardinia this summer, after President Giulini’s club had already tried to sign him in the past transfer market sessions. This is his thought at the conference:
Why did you choose the Cagliari project?
“I wanted to stay in Italy. I knew they wanted me for a long time.”

“Absolutely. I had a contract with Atalanta, and even though the coach didn’t want to focus on me, I continued to work. Now I’m happy to be here and I really want to thank everyone who worked hard to get me here, starting last year.”

“It’s demanding, but you’re so busy that it passes quickly. Football gives me ambition and desire to do, I feel that I can still give a lot and improve and this is my strength to have the mentality to improve myself personally and give a hand to Cagliari”.
