“The Monza Grand Prix, which is held at a certain distance from San Donato, is an example of how the Milan stadium can in the future have a close link with the social, cultural and commercial fabric of our city”: these are the words reported by The Citizen of the councilor of the Municipality of San Donato, Massimiliano Mistrettawho commented on the fact that the Monza Grand Prix that took place last weekend also filled the hotels in San Donato and also caused bars and restaurants to work very hard.
Mistretta, who sees the Milan stadium as a great opportunity for the city, continued: “If the Program Agreement is successful, as an administration we will begin to think about projects aimed precisely at enhancing these aspects.”
Environmental impact assessment underway
The environmental impact assessment process includes an initial phase where there will be consultations on the matter, followed by the definition of a reasoned opinion and subsequent monitoring of the next steps. In the meantime, the Municipality of Milan is still waiting to see what the two clubs, Inter and Milan, want to do regarding the project that WeBuild presented in recent weeks for the renovation of San Siro. It is clear that, while waiting to make a decision one way or the other, both Milanese clubs did not want to give up their respective plan-b’s to have a home of their own, with the Nerazzurri taking equally decisive steps towards the Rozzano area and the related land used for the possible construction of a facility.
