Yours is a project with deep roots that was also based on the constant confirmation of mister Andreucci. Regarding the stadium issue, are there any updates?
“Unfortunately, every administration has its own dynamics for the stadium and we find ourselves a bit in the middle of this. It is clear that for us playing at the Ballarin stadium made sense while playing in Legnago is different. Our stadium does not have a lot of spectators but they are practically on the pitch, they create a great atmosphere and it is as if there were ten thousand of them. The administration is now trying to speed up the process and we hope to be able to return to the Ballarin by early November. On the first question, however, I had clear ideas since I arrived. I immediately had the idea of continuing with Andreucci because he had always done well. Some players were changed and, in fact, we also ended up changing the system. The ideas regarding the players were very clear from the start. Last season they were good at always keeping the attention high. Winning the championship with a 14-point gap was equally important to start this season with clear ideas in mind. We left a general framework by adding category players who were also at a certain stage of their career to ensure that they matched our ambitions”.
Against Triestina it was an important victory if you consider that the team was on the pitch with 10 men for a long time
“Winning is always good. We had also done very well in Lecco but we were condemned by an own goal. I think that against Triestina we played a great match from a tactical point of view because it is not easy to play with 10 men for such a long time. I really want to say that we are a group with a really important collective and that does not have a real star. On Saturday we showed this on the pitch”.
What kind of match will the next matchday be against Pergolettese?
“It will be a difficult match because they come from two results that are not so true. We have high morale and we come from a beautiful victory but, as I always said last year, we have to give value to everything we have done up to now regardless of the opponent. We know that we can lose, we can win, we can draw but we have to put everything we have done on the field”.
