Ancelotti’s Real Madrid also lose Ceballos: sprained ankle and 2 months out

Fortune does not smile on Dani Ceballos. Having started yesterday’s match won by Real Madrid against Betis 2-0, the Spanish midfielder was injured and will be out for around two months, thus also missing the first Champions League matches (he should return for the match against Milan, scheduled for November 2).

Here is the official statement: “Following tests carried out today by the medical staff on our player Dani Ceballos, he has been diagnosed with a grade 3 sprain with ligament damage in his right ankle. His progress will be monitored.”
