Calabro: “Catanzaro deserved it today, happy to have been appreciated by the public”

A man appeared in the press room Anthony Calabro frank and without frills regarding the defeat suffered against his former team, Catanzaro, by his Carrarese. Here are his words: “Catanzaro deserved it today. The home team played differently today with a determination that I had not seen in the first matches. The second goal conceded, after our draw, affected our performance; the third goal then cut our legs off. We had good possession but all the second balls were Catanzaro’s, we lost many tackles: in football this makes the difference. After the break a new championship begins. Many guys have arrived. In the first three days I always used the same guys from last season, making good performances. Today we were not brilliant and we will have fifteen days to introduce the new arrivals”.

On the Giallorossi public: “I have always behaved well in Catanzaro. I put my face forward when perhaps someone else should have done so. For me it is surprising and not a given that the people of Catanzaro have understood everything. On a human level I have been appreciated and I am happy about this”.
