A return full of emotions that of Darko Lazović at Ferraris. The Hellas Verona winger, interviewed by Sky Sport before the match against Genoa, spoke about his special bond with the Ligurian city, which welcomed him upon his arrival in Italy.
“It’s always nice to return to Genoa,” Lazovic admitted. “It was my first Italian home, my daughter was born here. I have so many wonderful memories.” The Serbian player, after his experience in the red and blues, became a pillar of Hellas Verona, a team with which he found continuity and high-level performances.
Despite his affection for Genoa, Lazovic did not hide his determination to do well in the Verona jersey: “Today I am an opponent and I will give everything to bring home a positive result”.
