Jeremy Brohleaves Palermo again: Padova has in fact closed this evening for his arrival from the rosanero, as reported by the editorial staff of TUTTOmercatoWEB.com.
Jérémie Delphin Broh Tonye was born in Parma to an Ivorian father and a Cameroonian mother. He is a modern, versatile midfielder, capable of covering all midfield roles, particularly as a mezzala in a three-man midfield, but he has also played as a deep-lying midfielder, or one of the two central midfielders in a four-man midfield. Skilled both in the non-possession phase and in the possession phase, he knows how to combine quantity and quality. With a good physical structure, good running and decent technique, his best qualities are recovering the ball and making runs.
He grew up in the Parma youth sector, working his way up from the chicks to the first team. He made his Serie A debut on 18 May 2015, replacing Antonio Nocerino in the 82nd minute of the match lost against Fiorentina 3-0. After the bankruptcy of the ducal club, he was signed by Sassuolo. During the 2015-2016 season he played with the black-green Primavera and was called up to the first team several times by mister Eusebio Di Francesco, but was unable to debut with the Sassuolo shirt. In the summer of 2016 he was loaned to Pordenone, making his Serie C debut on 24 September 2016 against Maceratese (2-4 for the Friulians). After making 11 appearances between the league, Coppa Italia and Coppa Italia Serie C, in January he returned to Sassuolo. Shortly after he was sold, again on loan to FC Südtirol. The good performances convinced the red and white club to renew the loan during the following season (2017-2018). In the 2018-2019 season he was loaned to Padova, making his debut in the cadets on 26 August 2018 in the derby against Hellas Verona (final score 1-1). In the 2019-2020 season, loaned to Cosenza, he scored his first goal among professionals on 22 December 2019 (in the match valid for the seventeenth day of the Serie B championship won 1-3 by the Calabrians against Pisa).
On September 25, 2020, Palermo acquired the player’s registration on a permanent basis from Sassuolo. 26 games in C, then the loan to FCS in the summer of 2021, the conquest of the B with the biancorossi and the return to Palermo, which in the meantime had risen to the cadets. Last year in B, with the rosanero he played 30 games. He boasts 4 appearances in the youth national teams of the Azzurri: 2 in 2014 with the Under 18 and 1 in 2018 with the Under 20.
