Juventus-Sancho on stand-by. Chelsea remains strong on the English striker

The deal for the transfer of English striker Jadon Sancho from Manchester United to Chelsea has yet to be resolved. The recent contacts between the parties have not brought the two clubs closer to an agreement and this, inevitably, has put on hold a negotiation that must be concluded by tomorrow, the deadline of this transfer window. Chelsea is also on the trail of Sancho, a club that has been working for days on an exchange with Manchester United also involving Raheem Sterling

Today, Juventus has officially announced the permanent transfer of Federico Chiesa to Liverpool. This is the financial statement: “Juventus Football Club SpA announces that it has reached an agreement with Liverpool FC for the definitive transfer of the rights to the sporting performances of the footballer Federico Chiesa for a consideration of € 12 million, payable in four financial years, in addition to variable bonuses of up to a maximum of € 3 million. This transaction generates a negative economic impact on the 2023/2024 financial year, equal to € 3 million, as a result of the adjustment of the net book value of the rights to the sporting performances of the footballer”.

The press release on the official Juventus website.
“The paths of Juventus and Federico Chiesa are parting, after four seasons together. The 1997-born player has officially transferred permanently to Liverpool. The one in England, for Federico, will be his first experience away from Italy after those at Fiorentina first and then Juventus. Chiesa concludes his adventure in black and white with over one hundred appearances in all competitions – 131, to be precise –, studded with 32 goals and over twenty assists. Over one hundred games played with our shirt, we were saying, with the one hundredth reached in the 2023/2024 season, on the occasion of the match against Lecce on 26 September, at the Allianz Stadium. The one against Monza, however, was Federico’s last appearance – with a goal attached – in black and white.

From the first day he arrived in Turin, he brought out all his qualities. His desire to raise the bar, training session after training session and match after match, were an extra incentive for everyone. Chiesa leaves our Club having won 1 Italian Super Cup in the 2020/2021 season and 2 Italian Cups, respectively in 2020/2021 – also scoring the decisive goal in the final in Reggio Emilia against Atalanta – and in 2023/2024. Thank you for everything, Fede, and good luck for the future!”
