Bari, Ricci towards the transfer to Cosenza. To replace him there is Tripaldelli of SPAL

Despite having taken the field in three of the first four official matches, also scoring a goal against Juve Stabia in the first match of the championship, James Ricci in the next few hours there could be a farewell to Bari. The left-back, who arrived in 2021 when the club was playing in Serie C, has in fact ended up in the sights of Cosenza who are said to be negotiating with the Apulians for his registration as reported by Sky Sports.

A farewell, after 88 appearances and four goals, which had also been hinted at by coach Longo after the match against Sassuolo: “Ricci asked us to sell him, then he changed his mind. It’s a bit confusing. If the player or someone asks the director to leave, I have to focus on other players.”

To replace him, the hot name in the Apulian house is that of Alessandro Tripaldelli playing for SPAL – where he has collected 70 appearances with one goal – which would have already been blocked if Ricci’s transfer to Cosenza were to be formalized in the next few hours. For the ’99 born player, it would be a return to Serie B, where he also wore the Crotone jersey in addition to that of the Estensi, after a season in the third division in which he made 28 appearances and one goal. Tripaldelli also took to the field as a starter in the first championship match against Ascoli which ended 2-2.
