The Catanzaro coach Fabio Caserta commented as follows – as reported by Passionecatanzaro.it – the 2-0 defeat suffered in Cesena: “We didn’t approach well, we started fearfully and so this allowed Cesena to take the lead on a mistake of ours. We had the ball to be able to equalize and change the inertia of the game, but we made the wrong choice.
We conceded the second goal and then everything becomes more difficult. We didn’t approach it well, this is what makes me angry because today there were the conditions to do more. 2-0? We really misread that action.
I watch today’s game and I didn’t like the team on many things. I don’t like to see players putting their hands on their heads if they concede a goal. What I want to see is to take the ball right away and put it in the center.
Last year Catanzaro was the surprise, this year they expect you and then you play against a team that is healthy, like Cesena. We have to understand how important it is to approach well, be aggressive on the second ball and have more desire than the opponent”.
