The Bologna edition of The Republic distributed this morning in newsstands takes stock of the Bologna’s market movementsfocusing especially on the income and in particular on the new central defender that the rossoblù management wants to hand over to coach Vincenzo Italiano as soon as possible.
There are several names in the mix, one of the last candidates was – as we had anticipated – the Czech Martin Vitikfor whom the rossoblù went as high as 13 million euros plus bonuses but whose trail now seems to have cooled. And then there is the almost contemporary Becir Omeragica Swiss player from Montpellier who had already ended up in Sartori’s sights a couple of years ago, when he was still in Zurich.
Other profiles that have emerged in recent weeks, such as that of the Brazilian, remain good Alexander of Lille (for which at least 18 million euros are needed), of Sikou Niakate of Braga and the 23-year-old Ivorian Sinaly Diomande who plays in France, in Olympique Lyon. And there is also a new name, that of the 2000 class Batista Mendya transalpine player playing for the Turkish club Trabzonspor who spent 5 million euros last year to sign him from Angers. All physically fit profiles, there is time until August 30 to close.
