Decisive day for the transfer of Matias Moreno from Belgrano to Fiorentina. Yesterday the two clubs reached an agreement for the transfer of the 2003-born central defender to Italy thanks to an offer of five million euros plus one million in bonuses and 10% on any future resale. Today the lily club expects to close the deal with the player and then, between Thursday evening and Friday morning, welcome the player to Florence. In the meantime, Fiorentina is still working on the purchase of a midfielder. Adli arrived from Milan but with Amrabat leaving – destination Fenerbahce – they are looking for another solution for the midfield.
Meanwhile, yesterday the official renewal of Luca Ranieri’s contract arrived with this press release: “Fiorentina announces that it has renewed the contract that bound the player Luca Ranieri to the Viola Club until 30 June 2028. Ranieri, who grew up in the Fiorentina Youth Sector, played 67 games for the Viola between Serie A, Coppa Italia and Conference League, scoring 5 goals”.
