“It was a troubled salvation. Our season was positive at the beginning, but we weren’t able to do a little more and we reached the end with water at our throats. But we managed to avoid the play outs.” He speaks like this during “A Tutta C” on the frequencies of TMW Radio the captain of the Arzignano Riccardo Casini then focusing on his adventure with the Venetian shirt.

Your journey in Arzignano?
“Coming from an excellent season last year we immediately entered the category in a big way. This year it would have been difficult to reconfirm but I think they could have been there. The second year is always difficult for motivation.”

The beginning of his career with Bologna?
“Those were other years. The benches were short and not like today. It happened to me more than once that I went with the first team. From that moment I started traveling until I arrived here in Arzignano. It’s the fifth year that I’ve been here and I see both myself and the company growing. This is a great pleasure.”

There was also a great integration by the new arrivals.
“We started from a base with players who had already done well last year. The inclusion of the new arrivals was very simple because they were guided by those who have been there the longest. For me it’s nice to come and play with us also because the club continues to grow.”

Is your objective the corporate one? What do you like about this club?
“My personal goal is to provide more and more continuity. Every day always do everything to the fullest. When I understand that I won’t be able to give my best I will stop. The company wants to provide continuity and become a consolidated reality in this category. The thing I like most is that they let people work well and they manage to improve.”
