It’s not just the market and the championship that are at the starting line, at the centre of attention of the Trento and its president Mauro Jacket. The club’s number one, guest of the columns of the Courier of Trentinoalso spoke about infrastructure and in particular about the project for the construction of the new sports centre:
“We have started a major project for the new sports center that will be built in the Trento Sud area, in San Vincenzo. It is an area of 28 hectares, the same one where Vasco Rossi’s concert took place in 2022. We have the renderings, the projects and we are discussing them with the institutions. If we manage to structure ourselves with the new home of Trento, then we can plan to take another step forward. But to try to move up a category we need to be ready from all points of view”.
He also reserves a little space for the first championship match against Padua: “We are facing one of the best equipped teams in the category, which wants to go up to Serie B and has great ambitions. We know its value and the fact that the League has chosen to start the live broadcasts on state TV with Padova-Trento is something that makes us particularly happy. I will only say that it is a shame that a great fan base like that of Padova is not present to follow the team. It is none of my business, but can I say that I am sorry? The club will certainly have had some shortcomings, but I say to the Padova fans to try to take a step back for the good of all, starting with that of the team”.
