Parma, Pecchia: “The victories are all beautiful. Thanks to Catanzaro, perhaps he owed us something”

Fabio PecchiaParma coach, spoke to the microphones of Sky Sports after his club’s promotion to Serie A. “It was a very complicated championship right up to the end, we reached 73 points to fight for promotion with two games to go, we need a tough championship. It was fought right to the end, with strong opponents who stimulated us. There is joy it’s a lot of tiredness. There’s no adjective, I embrace every boy, even those who have been on the sidelines for a long time. It’s a victory for a club.”

On the three promotions.
“All victories are beautiful, the one in Verona was very complicated. In Cremona it was more of a fairy tale, beautiful, this one is perhaps harder. The primary objective was to return to Serie A, this is the victory of a strong club, I’ve done my part in an important circuit. Now it’s time to finish.”

There were many rotations.
“I have to thank the boys because they entered into the dynamic, for none of them. Someone understood the continuous rotations, the changes, maintaining the principles of a fun team, which always wanted to win. I relied on the intelligence of the boys, of a strong group. The biggest goal was Serie A.”

About the season.
“Many times you had to think that we had to take a stroll in Serie B, because many times we played as a great team. Today, in my opinion, they played three matches.”

Was there a critical moment?
“The match that left some waste was the defeat against Catanzaro. We played a great match, but it hurt us a lot. I say thanks to Catanzaro, perhaps we owed something back to Tardini”.
