De Zerbi idea for Milan. He said: “It’s not a normal club, grateful for life”

Among the names of the various coaches that have emerged as possibilities for the Milan bench next season, and therefore to take the place that will leave Pioli free at the end of the championship, that of Roberto De Zerbi.

A choice which, like all, has its pros and cons but which could prove fascinating above all from one aspect. De Zerbi, in fact, is a footballer born and raised in the Rossoneri youth sector and still carries those colors in his heart today, as he himself confirmed. In mid-February, speaking of Milan, he said: “It’s not a normal club for me, I grew up in that club. For my life I will be grateful to this club.” To be fair, a couple of weeks later he still said he was fully focused on Brighton’s present, hinting that he would also stay the following season.

The scenario that is being created between De Zerbi and Brighton, however, appears potentially ideal for the big Italian teams looking for a coach for next season: the Italian coach’s prospects are a bit limited. Regarding his contract with the Seagulls, however, there is one thing to overcome 14 million euro clause.
