The Pisa Sporting Company informs that the footballer Tomas Estevesinjured on Friday 2 August during the friendly match against Inter, suffered a complete lesion of the patellar tendon in his left knee.
Followed by the company medical staff, the player underwent surgery today at the Hospital Pihlajalinna in Turku (Finland); the operation, performed by Professor Lasse Lempainen, was a complete success and the rehabilitation program that the player will begin as soon as possible will now be established, always in agreement with the medical staff of Pisa Sporting Club.
The estimated prognosis is for return to activity in approximately 9 months.
