Viviano advises Fiorentina to RFV: “De Gea is top, but I also respect Turati a lot”

Emiliano Vivianoformer goalkeeper of the Florentinenow unattached, spoke to the microphones of Radio FirenzeViolaspeaking about the market: “I can understand the anger of the fans and their concern, but I am quite confident because in recent years the club has always put a good team at the disposal of the coach on duty. It is undeniable that Fiorentina is currently a bit behind on the market, but haste is often a bad advisor. Thinking more broadly, however, there are many teams that are a bit at sea”.

Do you like Palladino?
“He has an idea of football that is proving to be successful in Europe. He will be competing with a team that is certainly more difficult than Monza but in general he is a coach that I appreciate. What advice would I give him? Palladino was an important player and I think he will know how to manage the environment. Then I am of the opinion that a professional sometimes has to go straight for his idea without listening to everything that is said. In Florence then you don’t just judge the results, sometimes even the aesthetics are enough”.

Terracciano is back in the eye of the storm and De Gea’s name is being mentioned to replace him.
“When you learn to ride a bike, you know how to ride a bike your whole life (laughs, ed.). Even though he has been out for more than a year, we are talking about a top goalkeeper, so it would be a great thing if the club could bring him to Florence. Having said that, I am also a great admirer of Turati, who would be a different project. Terracciano, however, has been starting out with a sword over his head for years, but in the end he has always done his part”.

How many days does it take for a new goalkeeper to find the right understanding with his teammates?
“To tell the truth, from that point of view I am much more worried about the midfielders because the goalkeeper, net of some details that change depending on the coach, must try to save well. In midfield, however, you need to know the coach and the characteristics of your teammates”.
