Venezia is looking for another striker for next season. As reported by ‘Sky’, the orange-black-green club has made contact for Antonio Raimondo, a young Bologna centre-forward who has already rejected Lucerne and several Serie B clubs but could accept a move to Di Francesco’s court. To strengthen its attack, Venezia also likes Emanuel Pecorinoclass of 2001 of Juventus Next Gen.

Meanwhile, yesterday Venezia made official the renewal of all its managers with this press release: “Venezia FC is pleased to announce the contract renewal of Sporting Director and General Manager Filippo Antonelli. The 46-year-old has signed a multi-year contract that will tie him to the club until the end of the 2027/28 season. After concluding a 20-year career as a professional footballer, Antonelli began his career as Sporting Director at Aurora Pro Patria. In 2015, Antonelli moved to Monza to take on a leadership role. During his tenure at Monza, Antonelli helped take the club from Serie D to Serie A in just seven years. Having arrived in the lagoon in December 2022 as Sporting Director and General Manager, Antonelli reached the playoffs in the 2022/23 championship and then achieved historic promotion to Serie A the following season.

Venezia FC also announces the contract renewal of Technical Area Director Cristian Molinaro, who has signed a multi-year contract until the 2027/28 season. An Italian player of international caliber with experience at Juventus, Stuttgart and other top clubs, Molinaro arrived in Venezia in the 2019/20 season, first gaining promotion to Serie A as a player in the 2020/21 season and subsequently as a manager in the 2023/24 championship.

Finally, Isaac Guerrero, Technical Director and Head of Methodology of the Youth Sector of Venezia FC, has also extended his contract with Venezia FC until the end of the 2025/26 season, with an option for the 2026/27 season. Guerrero will thus continue the work of growth and development of the youth sector in an integrated manner with the technical project led by Sporting Director Filippo Antonelli, who in the last 3 years has seen over 20 boys from the orange-black-green youth team wear the jersey of their national team, in addition to reaching the playoff final with the Primavera in the 23/24 season.
