Mathieu Valbuena returns to Greece and signs with Athens Kallithea FC. After leaving Olympiacos in 2023, the 39-year-old spent last season in Cyprus with Apollon Limassol, making 36 appearances with eight goals and five assists. Now he returns to the Greek top flight to wear the blue and gold.
These are his first statements to the official channels of his new club: “I am very happy to arrive at Athens Kallithea. I am excited to meet all the members of the team and I can’t wait to play the first match of the season. The most important thing for me is the commitment to fight for Athens Kallithea in every single match and I hope we will have a great season. I can also say that I am very happy to return to Greece, this country is amazing”.
