Genoa is dealing with the increasingly probable farewell of Albert Gudmundsson and in the meantime Alberto Gilardino is starting to look ahead. The coach has now resigned himself to the departure of the Icelander but his fear is that Mateo Retegui could also leave his team in this transfer session, given that as we have told you the Italian-Argentine is an idea of Atalanta to replace the injured Gianluca Scamacca.
All about Milik.
This is why the Grifone coach made his request to the club and the name is that of Arkadiusz Milikwho could leave Juventus in the next few weeks, before the end of this summer transfer market. The feelings are positive for Genoa, given that Juve would be open to the Pole’s farewell, but at that point it would remain to understand the will of the centre forward who has already rejected possible destinations in the past.
Negotiations coming soon.
The operation still has to be set up but as soon as Fiorentina has closed for Gudmundsson, Genoa’s offensive for Milik will start, with the negotiation that will officially begin and it will be clearer if there will be room to get to the queen. Other names in the mix are those of Remi Oudin (for which 2.5 million euros were offered to Lecce) and another Juventus player like Tarek Muharemovicthe latter however playing for the Under 23s. Genoa is also looking for a left winger in defence.
