How’s it going with the injury?
“I’m recovering, I’m much better. I’ve already started running and I can’t wait to get on the pitch helping the kids in the difficult situation we’re in. I’m training as hard as I can and I’m doing everything I can to get back as soon as possible, I think I can make it before the season ends.”
What is the atmosphere like after Cannavaro’s arrival?
“The air is different, very positive. I think that the coach with all his experience can give us a lot in this situation. You can see that he has confidence and personality, I think that in our situation he can give us a lot, now for the last races we need confidence and he is giving us a lot in this sense.”
The league table is perhaps at its worst moment of the season, what do you feel in the locker room?
“We definitely feel the weight of the ranking, but within the group I feel awareness of the situation and we know that we have to do something more. We know the importance of finishing this season well, the boys give everything and we want to resolve the situation as best as possible.”
There is no lack of support from the fans present today too:
“Our fans are fundamental, especially in this situation. They never gave up and we are grateful for this, I want to say thank you and that they support us in the end of the season as they have done up to now, let’s all give our best to finish the season.”
