CT Montenegro praises Adzic: “I would have called him even before, he is an impressive talent”

Robert Prosinecki, Montenegro’s coach, praised Vasilije Adziz, born in 2006 and who is showing off his skills at Juventus, in an interview with Allsports: “He’s an impressive player. A complete midfielder. Ductile. Versatile. Even though he’s only 18, he’s already ready to move from the Under 21s to the National Team. I would have called him even earlier, I spoke to him on two occasions in March shortly after I took over, but I wasn’t able to see him in action live for the whole 90 minutes because in those weeks he had only been used for a few minutes in Buducnost and had also had to serve a one-match suspension…”.

The new Juventus signing seemed destined to start with the “Next Gen” like Yildiz, but Thiago Motta was enchanted by him in Nuremberg and tomorrow night against Brest in Pescara he could be a starter, thanks to Miretti’s foot injury…
“Motta is a connoisseur, a coach of the “nouvelle vague” who adopts a modern, cutting-edge, offensive style of football… After all, what he did in Bologna is already history. And I’ll add this: Zirkzee went to Manchester United for over 40 million and Calafiori to Arsenal for around fifty. Are we sure that the same would have happened if there had been another coach on the Bologna bench?”.

Who would you compare Adzic to? Some say Mijatovic…
“No, not in Pedja. “Adzo” is a Boban-style attacking midfielder. Physically strong and technically skilled. Good at tackling, setting up the game, moving the ball around, shooting. He has a lot of quality. A point of reference for his teammates. He is the “buducnost” (“future”, literally translated) of Montenegro. Under Motta’s wise guidance he can only improve and perfect himself further”.
