Cittadella, here is the post-Pittarello: former SPAL player Rabbi arrives to reinforce the attack

Official

After leaving SPAL, where he made 57 appearances with five goals between Serie B and Serie C in two seasons, the striker Simone Rabbi there is the arrival in the cadetteria. The 2001 class, who had terminated his contract with the Estensi in recent days, has in fact signed with Cittadella.

The Lega B website reports this in the section dedicated to the transfer market and now we are waiting for the press release from the Veneto club to find out the details of his contract and how many years he has been tied to the club. Rabbi will therefore take the place of that Philip Pittarello sold to Catanzaro.

Rabbi has also worn the shirts of Piacenza in the past, 47 appearances and five goals in Serie C in 2021/22, and that of Bologna where he grew up and with whom he also made his debut in Serie A playing four games, while with the Primavera he scored 18 goals in 62 appearances.

These are the words of the general manager Stephen Marchetti released yesterday at The Gazette regarding the Cittadella market: “The squad will have to be completed, we are missing something and it will arrive. I hope as soon as possible, but the negotiations do not depend only on me even if I hope that at the right time Cittadella can present itself in full. I have something in mind for the attack and to replace Pittarelloit takes time for everything to mature. It won’t be today or tomorrow but we’ll get there.”
