Bijol banishes the market: “Two incredible years at Udinese, I don’t think about what happens outside”

Jaka Bijol, Udinese defender and new vice-captain of the Friulian black and whitesspoke to the microphones of TV12 from the Austrian training camp: “Thank you. I have a great experience with Slovenia during the European Championship. I never forget, every game is special. I am ready for the new season at the club. The group is doing new things with a different attitude. I am happy to be here to help Flo in this new season. Let’s hope we start well”. As for the responsibilities that await him, he reiterates: “I am ready. Last year was a big test for all of us. Let’s hope that last year’s experience will never be repeated. I am ready to help everyone”.

The Slovenian defender knows that he is currently on the lips of many clubs but he seems to be focused on his new role at Udinese. “It’s been two incredible years here. Unfortunately in football you never know what can happen. But as I said I’m ready, I’ll do everything I can for this shirt to help the coach, the captain and the fans. At the moment I’m not thinking about what’s happening outside of Udinese”.

We then wonder what the big difference is with the new coach as far as the technical proposal is concerned. Bijol says: “The big difference is precisely in attack and defense. We must have confidence in ourselves and help the attackers to avoid them running too much on the pitch”.

Bijol then concludes: “Nobody wants to repeat the mistakes of last season. We have to play football to be happy on the pitch and enjoy our sport. Not like last year when we saw the result as the first thing. It is important to play for the win. We have to play, we have to try to score goals. This is important. We don’t just look at what minute we are at but we have to enjoy ourselves a little more and the results will surely come. We hope to play great football this season and get great results”.
