On the sidelines of the event for the presentation of the commemorative stamp for the twentieth championship of theInterthe former Nerazzurri player intervened Evaristo Beccalossi. Here is his speech to the microphones of TMW.
Is there any hope of having another great season?
“That’s a fact. I think the team has worked well in recent years, the results have come. The striking thing is that even the latest player to arrive seems to have been playing for Inter for 20 years, so it means that there is a solid structure, an exceptional environment and you are ready to play for all the objectives that there are. In my opinion, the team will be the favorite and the others will have to play catch up.”
Speaking of the new signings, who impressed you the most between Zielinski, Taremi and Martinez?
“You are at such a high level that there will be problems of choice. Inzaghi has an important squad: having so many objectives, management will be important and he has shown he knows how to do it. What strikes me is that, compared to past years, it is an environment that knows what it wants: great players, coach and the corporate structure is doing great things”.
As rivals, do you worry more: Thiago Motta’s Juventus or Conte’s Napoli?
“I think Inter are the favorites, but in football there is certainly nothing. Conte and Oriali are my friends: I wish them all the best, after Inter it’s clear.”
