Sassuolo, not only Lazio for Lauriente: there is the inclusion of Southampton

Lazio is not the only one interested in Sassuolo’s attacking winger Armand Laurientie. As reported by Football Insider in fact, the French would have forcefully inserted itself Southampton in England, a club looking for reinforcements in the forward department and they are targeting the class of ’98 who does not seem to want to stay in black and green after the relegation to Serie B and has already shown his discontent with the situation.

Laurientè, who is also liked by several SuperLig clubs in Turkey, plays mainly as a left-back and last season collected five goals and six assists in 37 appearances in Serie A, while with the Sassuolo shirt he boasts a total of 68 appearances with 12 goals scored. Before that, between Lorient and Rennes, the Frenchman amassed a total of 26 goals in 141 games in professional football.

The 1998-born player would be the latest signing for the English club, which has already landed several important signings in view of the next Premier League this summer, including Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Flynn Downes, Yukinari Sugawara, Nathan Wood, Ronnie Edwards, Adam Lallana and Charlie Taylor. After France and Italy, the striker could gain experience in another of the so-called ‘big 5’ leagues, such as the English one.
