Monza broke the deadlock thanks to a goal by Portuguese Dany Mota in the first quarter of an hour of the match and doubled the score in the 21st minute with a header by Bosnian Milan Djurić. He scored the third goal in the second half, while the goal for the team from the Marche was scored by Molina on a penalty kick in the 80th minute.
