Hellas Verona FC announces that it has acquired – on loan until 30 June 2025, with an option to buy – the sporting performances of the French defender from Sporting Club Bastiais Yllan Okou.
Born in Poitiers, France, on December 23, 2002, Okou began his sporting career in the youth sector of Monaco, a club with which he made his professional debut on February 2, 2022, in a 3-1 away win in the Coupe de France against Quevilly-Rouen. In Monaco’s youth teams, Okou scored a total of four goals and one assist in 26 appearances.
In 2023, the defender moved to Bastia, where last season he made 25 appearances in Ligue 2 – the French second division – and scored two goals.
